Hi there,

I'm taking a day off on Monday to have a chill out in a pub at lunchtime with my newspapers and a few books.

I've just moved to North London from Dagenham and want to find a nice real ale pub preferably with a jukebox where I can have a fag and a pint or six in a nice atmosphere.

Ideally should be within easy reach and staggering distance of Seven Sisters.

Any Urbs who are free between 1-7 are more than welcome to join me.

Its years since I've had a 'drunk day' and chilled out in the pub for a few hours.

Thanks for that. That pub looks really familiar. I think my fiancee and I went in there a few months back to enquire about having our engagement party there.

Would do, but that's a bit early! We won't be back from work until 7pm and 8-9pm, and if we do go it will be after that, so it looks like we'll miss you completely. Have a pint of sparta for me though.

I will. Shame my fiance is going to pick me up at the pub and I'd love you to meet her - she's gorgeous :)

the boogaloo on archway road has a good jukebox - and did have a friendly cat but i aint been there for a while

Shane McGowan's pub, eh? No ale, though. Never been there; I should though, there's a bit of woods on that bit of the map that's cycling distance from me that I've never been to. *starts hatching plans*
