Just thought I'd say hi - am sat in a sunny leafy courtyard, having a cheeky beer during a break, and found an unsecured network - so HI! :D

I lived out there for a bit, boring as hell, great art museums though.
Sounds made up.
Did you make it up Soj?

Nope
It's in that Switzerland. Ace when you get off the plane, and have the choice of exiting the airyport to France/Germany, or Switzerland
That also sounds made up.
<Soj's crazy brainz>
:(
Have you locked the bedroom door again?

Yeh, unfortunately I'm not gonna get the chance to go to any art museums :( but I will be going up to the Munsterchurchthingy, and having a gander out at the Rhine tomorrow morning

Ah, well that's what I thought - I always pronounce it barl, but the German receptionist pronounced it basil

It has, if i recall the details, correctly, a train station in Germany and one in Switzerland. This little mix-up led to me jumping from a moving train and being arrested at the end of a machine gun, by a border guard who went on to laugh openly at my terror once it was all sorted out. :(

Ah...oh dear. No surprise you don't have a lasting endearing impression of the place then!

Well, as it's costing me bugger all, and the suns out, and the architecture is stunning, I'd say it was less weird, more excellent :D
Anyhow, I'm away to drink more beers, quick spliff int hotel room, and then onto some gorgeous restaurant *smug* ;)

Sounds cool - i quite like Switzerland. And a 'gorgeous' Swiss restaurant probably means blindingly opulent so i hope that's covered too :)
I thought Basel was gonna be somewhere up north :o  :D
Hope you're having a nice time Soj

Oh yes, it was - opulent and paid for :D
Mmm...snails...and roasted monkfish...phwoarrrr!!
I discovered that copious amounts of butterscotch schnapps helps me to play pool even better than usual too - wiped the floor with me boss 4-1 *cackle*
Am now back in my windowless office, doing proper work again, bah
weird place, Basel.
IME, the rest of Switzerland seems to think that too :D
