Gutshot surely? Didn't they have legal problems recently?

I believe there are listings for home games on the gutshot site though.

Well they're still advertising club tournaments but I can't find the home game listings.

Details of the legal shit here:

I've only played poker once and that was in a tournament at Gutshots. I came 4th and won nearly £200. I like Gutshots. :)

There are reasonably priced games in Waterloo, Woking and Croydon for South London.

As well as a £30,000 buy in in South Manchester.

Just came across this - The London Poker Meetup

We have a number of regular locations but our main monthly meetup is held at The Walrus, a social club not far from Waterloo. We also have a weekly game going at The Lodge in Clapham and weekly games in Twickenham and further afield. We hope to organise a regular venue in West London in the near future

buyins are £10 aledgedly - supposedly they have also had a meet at the Coopers Club in Lambeth

That page is a bit out of date, there's no poker at the Walrus anymore. Their main venue is The Lodge, a working men's club near Clapham North tube station. They also have tournaments in Beckenham, Acton, Ruislip and Twickenham and the members put home games on all over London.

I've been a member of the LPM for the last year, it's a really nice little community, a great bunch of poker nuts. It's definitely worth checking out some of their games, they put on two or three low stakes games every week - their friday ten pound game in Clapham usually gets over 60 runners and is very well run. Check their calendar (http://poker.meetup.com/89/calendar/)page and look for Jim's game. They also do a wednesday game for twenty quid with less runners but a slightly better standard of play and a monthly deepstack tournament, £50 buy in with 10,000 starting chips and half hour levels.

Other than LPM, in South London there's Big Slick (http://www.bigslick.co.uk/), in South Croydon and Loose Cannons (http://www.loosecannonclub.com/page.asp) near Cannon street station (not south london, but only just the other side of the river), which are more like proper card rooms, with the buy ins on the steeper side.

Thanks for that rs - supposedly theres about to be a law change that will mean that pubs can run lower end matches legally in-house.

...the poker boom continues

That Gutshot home games page is about 3 years out of date. It's got an old listing of mine on it!
