You are invited to attend the next meeting of Lambeth Defend Council Housing on MONDAY MARCH 5TH AT 7PM – ALL WELCOME
Venue: 336 Centre, 336 Brixton Rd, SW9
Agenda
1) Update on postponed Shadow ALMO ‘elections’ from Tenants Council reps – spoil ballot papers campaign
2) Taking the NO ALMO message onto the estates – estate meetings plan. Ballot Petition - Give out petitions
3) No to Stock transfer updates – Leigham Court , Ashmole , Sheltered Housing
4) Update on national campaign for the 4th Option , plus the Hills government review into future of social housing
5) Lambeth Political Parties & Trade Unions.
6) Audit Commission Report. Heenal ( Unison) to lead off discussion about this & how we are going to respond to the general dissatisfaction with Lambeth’s Housing Dept. when campaigning.
7) Distribution of (brief) constitution and timescale for future election of Secretary , Chair and Treasurer - anyone can be nominated for election to these posts , please email stephenhack@btinternet.com if you want to stand for election, or simply put your name forward at the meeting. (Elections will NOT be taking place on March 5th)
