expat pubs and bars sound the best idea. although if they can get to barcelona there is also call centre work.

alternatively they could buy a load of beers and sell them to thirsty clubbers whn they come out of the club. or maybe start hawking dvds, cds and bags?

Olive picking season is here. November through to February - follow the seasons.

It's fucking shit and low paid. If you're lucky you can get to drive an automatic tree shaker.

Head west from Alicante into the olive belt.

My understanding is it's all right if you come from the north on an aeroplane.

Come from the south on a boat and you'll constitute a national crisis.

Your understanding is very awry.

You're one of those people who say the Daily Mail is shit and then read and believe the Spanish equivalent. Get out from Huescar. There's much more to see.

Not sure you understand what I meant there.

You appreciate that my second line was ironic, yeah?

(As for getting out of Huesca, as my income is nil I can't currently afford the bus ticket to Zaragoza. Actually I can't afford the bus ticket to the bus station.)

Irony hey? It can be so easily misunderstood.

Try walking. You meet more people in a similar position to yourself.

Is Aragon worth visiting if you like wandering around old towns and maybe doing a bit of hill walking and perhaps even trying to locate civil war battle sites?
