Hello,
Got 4 days in Honk Kong, including Xmas Day. What do you recommend I do with my 4 days? Staying on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai.
As well as all the usual stuff, I'd love to buy loads of dodgy software and fake clothes, where are the best markets, Mong Kok?
Also, on the return leg I have about 8 hours between flights. What should I do? Taxi into town and spend more time there, or is the airport too far away? Does the airport have a cinema in?
Cheers :D

The direct trains from the terminal building (about 24 minutes to centre) might make more sense than a taxi.

I reckon you’ll be able to get a lot of the stuff you’re after next door to Wan Chai in Causeway Bay, but it’s definitely worth a wander round the markets in Mong Kok and Sham Shui Po as well, and I’d definitely say head into town for some of your stop on the return leg, Chek Lap Kok wouldn’t be much of a place for spending 8 hours in.
As far as stuff to do goes, you’re not going to run short – the islands are well worth a look as well as The Peak and all the usual places, Lamma and Cheung Chau are my favourites – you might even want to head across to Macau for a day if you don’t think you’ll be passing that way again. Should be getting some good weather around then…bastard…:D

If you don't visit jessiedog towers you'll be missing out... :)
One of the best places to change money is at the kiosk by the HK side Star Ferry - The Star Ferry is a must - night and day. Enormous shopping malls both sides of the Harbour. The Golden Buddha on Lantau island. - There's a Disney land. You can buy a return ticket for the MTR (underground) at the airport that includes a day or more travel - it was quite a good deal last year. Eat at some of the smaller restaurants that are busy, there are some great ones around Wan Chai - any that have english on the menu will make you welcome.
Fake clothes? Are they like the things the Emperor got made for him?

JTG: Fake designer clothes, certain fakes are really well made.

Try the Temple street night market in Kowloon.
Or you could try and find the factory outlets which sell discounted designer clothes (check the local rags).
Mong Kok is the place for fake software although it's a rip-off compared to the mainland. ($80 for Photoshop!?!?!?!)
Go round Jackie Chan's gaff.
