when I got there this morning there was someone calling for an ambulance and a bunch of gurning idiots standing around WATCHING as about 5 members of LU staff were doing CPR on a colleague at the bottom of the escalators ... looked like he'd had a heart attack and dropped on the spot - it wasn't helped by the number of people just hanging about watching.

can't see why they'd close the whole station for this though? unless the chap died and the others were too upset to work??

very sad and a shocker to come across on your way to work...:(

:( Very sad. Good thing they shut the station though, you'd only have some sad twats taking photos of the poor guy with their mobile phones

Seems very odd to me.... when I got there at around 10.15, there was a big police (Transport and Met) presence, a mobile CCTV unit, an ambulance and the police helicopter swooped by twice.

Seems a bit extreme for a heart attack?

A black helicopter ;)

That's what I thought. I thought maybe someone had been stabbed

As did I Ms Minx. Perhaps the poor chap getting CPR had been assaulted rather than 'just' a simple coronary.
