Venue - outside Brixton Tube

in the Red Corner - big rasta* draped in flag walking down the high street shouting various 'wake up brixton' and other assorted rasta ramblings

in the Blue Corner - member of the group of muslim guys who set up a stall o/side the tube occassionaly

so the Rasta guy gets near to the tube and one of the Muslim lads breaks off from setting up his stall and runs towards him hurling abuse, starts pushing and shoving him, rasta shouts louder, other lad pushes him harder and shouts more.

5 minute abusive stand off - Rasta man doesnt react and the rest of the Muslim guys start dissapearing pronto.

As i got on the Bus the Rasta guy was getting harrassed loads from this ONE (and it was only one) individual

WTF? sort it out! just no need at all. The rasta guy is clearly a sandwich short of a picnic and showed no sign of stopping to preach or disrupt their plans

anyone know what group those guys are from? - wear the long flowing white robes and the knitted looking caps. I am so  at what i just saw i wish to complain to his organisation.

I fully accept there maybe some history so i didnt want to say anything at the time - and to be honest it got so heated i would have surely made it worse.

*wasnt the 'irish men are battymen' fella

It always amazes me that anyone would want to preach outside Brixton tube anyway. I've never seen anyone stopping to have a theological discussion on the pavement!
(though i tried it once with shouty-"brothers-and-sisters-repent!!" man. He was violent and not a very pleasant person to speak with (i've learnt my lesson...don't speak to strangers with megaphones/bibles/korans!)

Considering that Mohammeds family were given shelter by Emperor Menhelik of Ethiopia when the good burghers of Mecca forced The Prophet to flee to Medina, it is utterly worng even by the twisted lights of a religious bigot.
Personally I have no time for any of the Abrahamic religions, all "revealed" to various nutters down the centuries in the form of "Visions" and "Dreams", blinding
All of them accept that a 900 year old man was made promises by a burning bush, oo, er, time for yer medication Mr Moses

last week I was walking to the tube and a muslim guy was arguing with the guy who gives out Metros outside the station. Metro guy was trying to chill him out giving it “I’m just handing out papers - relax”. My wife was following on about 10 mins later and it had escalated into a full on assault. Police called and everything. Big group gathered around watching but not not helping Metro guy.

Fucking wanker. Hope he gets thrown in jail
