suddenly realised i don't know where my nearest 24hr store is. I'm pretty close to Telford Avenue bus garage.

Anyone the wiser?

Nisa on BH is 24hr, but that's probably too far innit!

It was 24 hr for a short time, but was closed the last couple of times I went past. The little offy a few doors up closer to Blenheim Gardens is open all hours though, and the one on the corner opposite BWL even has a proud "alcohol served 24 hours" sign.

The Texaco at the end of my road is 24hr...but that's by the Common. I think the Tescos will be 24hrs when it opens.

There are 2 24hr shops within spitting distance of my place.

Being Stockwell, I don't suppose that helps very much.....

But it is quite convenient for me.

Yes, but you have to be very careful to check dates on all the food. They're notorious for having out-of-date food in the fridges

That's certainly true of the little offy. They had a loaf of bread on the shelves that was two weeks past its sell by date when I went in last.

I check religiously now after I ended up walking out with sausages for the weekend fry-up that were nearly two weeks out of date

We used to live next door to it. Mountview, no mount fuck all view, but very useful for the 24 hour garage..

Especially when you get home from pub and realise you've no milk for the morning but can't be arsed going all the way back down the Hill again :(
