View Full Version : Free champagne on Atlantic Road
Further to this thread (http://www.urban75.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=125739&highlight=atlantico) the former Atlantico on Atlantic Road reopens tonight as the less-than-snappily-titled Bar 628. They were handing out flyers at the Tube last night.
Apparently there is free champagne, wine and buffet between 7-8pm

What a fucking original name  You sure it's not Bah? :D
The signs are up. It's a terrible name isn't it?

It looks like a Bah to me :) Even posher looking than Atlantico. Won't last long, I reckon.
Oh and they misspelled "Atlatic" on their flyers. Ha!

Free champagne is always a good thing and it's on my way home anyway :)

See you there - I might be wearing one of an assortment of flimsy disguises, depending on if they're trying to enforce any "only one glass of champagne per person" fuckery...;)
Oh naturally I'm going for free booze :)

Wimple?
Monkey mask?
Devil horns?
Cowboy hat?
och I think I'll probably recognise you ;)

Once when a bit worse for wear & they were giving out free fags, I told the girl I had an identical twin who was also in the pub. quickly repositioning myself I was able to get two packs plus lighters.
I was very suprised she fell for it cos it was only a smallish boozer.

Damn and I kept this quiet too - not just because I wanted to keep all the champagne to myself you understand, but also because I didn't know how widely they wanted this info spread.
;)
Anyway, it seems to be connected to my old newsagent, who's a very a nice man indeed. Good luck to him.

I had a delicious home-made carrot and parsnip soup at Bar 628 this lunchtime. It was incredibly cheap and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended! (though not so sure about the new frosted glass)
I went on Friday n had one glass of champagne... it got very crowded around half 7ish.
I absolutely LOATHE that fluorescent blue light... it's like being in a trance club!!!
