So, I haven't played snooker in the 6 years since I left uni, and I feel like a game.

Can anyone recommend anywhere good in the area? I think there's one on Acre Lane and one in Camberwell, possibly, any reports on what they're like and how much they cost? Or any others around? I live in Herne Hill so being easy to get to from there is important.

i played at the one in streatham this year. it's was pretty good - relaxed atmosphere, prices were ok.

There is an O'Reillys on Lavender Hill. Not been there for a while but fairly sure its got some snooker tables as well as pool tables. You have to be a member, but it only costs a fiver.

There's one in West Norwood, somewhere round the cemetery IIRC.

There are loads everywhere, but I don't know of any in Brixton area. The one in West Norwood is above a shop, but I think it's gone now? I can recommend Potters Bar in Streatham...but you have to be a member. Camberwell snooker place is opposite the bus garage down by the traffic lights on the green. :)

There IS one on Acre Lane... but you would need to go along to find out how to become a member... a friend of mine was visiting from California and was unsuccessful at getting in.... :(
