What with all the world cup threads at the moment, which of the 'big teams' do you think are most likely to go out early?
Germany - unlikely. Should cruise through that group, especially at home.
England - possible but hopefully should get through, although we'll probably find a way to stuff up against Sweden and face Germany in round 2.
Argentina / NL - very very possible one of these (or even both) could go out.
Portugal - one of the best teams not to be seeded. Should win that group comfortably.
Italy - now they really could be out in the first round. Both the USA and Czech Republic are no pushovers, and that's not even considering Ghana.
France - highly, highly unlikely, even if they aren't what they used to be
Spain - should get through no probs.

Italy are the most likely. They are not great at the moment and have a tough group.

France have an easy group but they're a shadow of themselves of late
A lot depends on the Dutch not trying to kill each other
FFS its *seven* months away yet. Got to let the season take its toll on the players 1st before anyone can predict that!

sounds like the ARSE's struggle in the champions league...... Sparta Prague, arent to bad but Ajax man they're a good side... not at 9th in the Dutch league they're not and who the hell are FC Thun
I sincerely hope France go out but I voted for Spain like the feeling in my stomach told me to
italy have been crap for years
i hope they get better soon :(

I reckon Spain will crack up like they always do. . . I blame their fans...they don't give a shit about the national team they're too obsessed with their area / club....
The Barca fans boo Madrid Spaniards when they play for the national team - whereas despite being a Spurs fan I wouldn't care if a goal came from Sol Campbell or Ashley Col. . .
Just gimme cup....

Surprised that there's four votes for England, they and Sweden will walk that group, a hand-picked one wouldn't have been too disimilar. More wilshful thinking than honest prediction I'd warrant.
chose spain, to many imponderables.

Germany? Their group is unbelievably easy... no way they will go out early...
