I noticed this story recently on the BBC website about holdyourbreath.org (http://www.holdyourbreath.org) proposing a Billy Connolly Statue at the mouth of the Clyde Tunnel. I like the idea behind brightening up the Tunnel and it all sounds quite cool.
It got me thinking about a few other things though.
1)Am I alone in thinking that more people would have wanted a statue of Billy Connolly in Sauchiehall street than wanted one of Donald Dewar?
2) Are there any other Scots that have been overlooked in the monument stakes? New York has Joey Ramone Street. Surely there has to be room for Bobby Gillespie Lane, or Sean Connery Shquare or something?
3) Are there any additions or subtractions you would like to see in your city?
