There's a house about a mile and a half away from us that have these large (artificial!) butterflies on the front of the house above the front door..

.. when I mentioned it to my husband today, he said "maybe they're welsh" and when I looked at him askance, he said he'd read a book when we were in Tenby that said there was some link between the welsh and butterflies.. and that was why a few houses in Tenby had similar butterflies on their houses.

Is he talking complete tosh, or not?

Not heard of a connection before but they seem rife in North Wales.
