Travelling to the US with a criminal record

Hi all!

I have a problem.

My fiance and I are planning a trip to LA and Vegas (from Australia) at the end of the year and I have a criminal record from about 4 - 5 years ago. It wasnt anything too serious ;). I have never been to jail, it was just a fine.

Anyway, I have just ordered a new passport and wondered if anyone knew if these details are put on your passport somehow?

I have never been over seas before and I am also a bit nervous!

Should I declare this at the airport or just answer no?

I dont want to get to LA and then be turned away either...

Any thoughts??? :confused:

Thanks for that. I did read all of that but wondered if anyone had any further info on travelling from Australia. Any and all ideas are very muchly appreciated!!
