Just out of curiousity have you recently moved to Wales? Its just that you seem to be on every thread in the Welsh forum.

"There is too much sniping at the ***. We have a lot of support in Wales. We are a legal, political party, why should he object?" makes me so mad, they just don't get it and keep on trying

All parties in every country that make up the UK have failed, arguably.

That they have the audacity to use the Giant's Causeway is well staggering.

He's waiting to be made a mod, that's why he's barking orders at people...

... though with that approach, he'll be waiting a good while ;)

Yes very good blog. If only the British Nationalist Parties were honest and admitted that they are British Nationalists. What gets on my nerves is the fake 'Welshness' they put on to woo Welsh voters.

Absolutely true.
British Nationalism is all around us.

From the BBC to everything else.

"British Nationalism" means English Nationalism.

Well, interesting in the sense that spending 14 hours in the windy rain on a platform at Crewe station, excitedly noting down train's numbers as they pass, is interesting, then yes, I guess you got a point about that.

Absolutely...

Well it is just boring paranoid anti-Englishness seemingly just for the sake of it.

I've not interest in Mr Adair's either, wouldn't want to interupt your bedtime reading anyway.

God, this mad Welsh chappie or the nutter Adair? Your taste in blogs is looking well boooooring!

I can't see anything anti-English in that blog. If it was I'd never read it. It's anti the British state, and even though Englishness and Britishness are thought of as the same thing throughout the rest of the world, we know better.

OK what language is that?

lewislewis
25-09-2005, 17:15
OK what language is that?

It's an attempt at 'English', the language of 'Britain', where all countries are equal and the national anthem doesn't say 'crush the rebellious Scots' etc.

I like England personally, we should have good foreign relations and with them once we become independent.

All parties in every country that make up the UK have failed, arguably.

I should've elaborated, three British nationalist parties have failed to adapt to the landscape of Welsh politics which was altered by the creation of the Welsh Assembly.
They've stressed that they're 'Welsh Labour', 'Welsh Lib Dems' or 'Welsh Cons' but still take orders and policies from London. This is both impractical and inappropriate.

Im just sick of the patronising attitude of the British state towards the welsh. This is most recently illustrated by the weak talking shop called the Welsh Assembly. Whilst Alderney and the Isle of Man have more power than Wales, we are supposed to be grateful with Peter Hain's recent (Blairite-kiss arse-careerist) pathetic proposals.

The sooner we get Independence the better - so a Welsh government is devoted SOLELY to welsh matters, can legislate on welsh matters when needed as soon as possible, without politicians using it to suit their own needs and to take our place in the world where we deserve to be.

Rant is over :)

It's a good start, to change Plaid Cymru into something more radical!
