David Davies objects because someone got a whopping £48k to make a documentary about the gypsy community. Given that the fuckwit is both an AM and an MP (I thought they had prohibited that?), he probably gets more than 48k in expenses, but he saw fit to write a letter to the Heritage Lottery fund asking for the same amount of money to be dedicated to making a film about the settled community... like, errr, doesn't he watch BBC, ITV, C4, C5 etc etc etc? Ain't they full of *setttled* people?

Unfortunately gypsy-bashing is still considered to be a perfectly acceptable form of prejudice by most. I also think its gonna take a while to conquer it :(

Well if he wants to become a big star in Tory politcs, then slagging off 'gypos' is the way to go. I mean look at his language. It is perfect, it has that swaggering arrognace of old Toryism with a new gusto. I can see loads of people up and down the country relishing in it.

Guess we have to start gearing up to the fact that Tories are on their way back, if not next election then certainly the one after that.

EDIT: Aha just checked the odds, he is the favourite.

I really despise David Davies-hes a annoying renta-quote Far-right Tory.

Even though that would mess up the current informal Anti-Labour coalition that is working quite well in the Assembly right now!
