Alitalia, quite often, but not long haul - they are ok. :)

Flew austrian air a few years ago from London City to Germany. Very small plane; nice Stewardess (pretty much part-time job fitting in while the kids are in school).
But I thought it was a really small airline. So they do long-haul now? Interesting.

Austrian air recently to Vienna, so not long haul, but they were ok. Be aware that you have to pay for their "bistro" service, and given the prices, taking sandwiches might be a good plan.

i went to one of the airline review sites and of course almost all of the reviews of both are pretty damning. i don't know if that's the nature of airline review sites - that only people wanting to complain contribute.

the austrian one would be to india, the alitalia to argentina

both are pretty cheap, considering. the austrian one especially so.

Have flown both on jaunts to Romania. Alitalia have a dreadful muzak version of Hey Jude they play at you but otherwise pretty much OK. Ditto Austrian.

Better than Lufthansa, not as good as Singapore really.
