Remember? Mister "I walk the walk and you lot only talk the talk"? Only he and his dimwit cronies would call an organisation BUM.
Almost urban design professionals, in fact "Brixton Urban Design" was another mooted name last year. Self-styled "artists". As in "we're artistic, donchaknow".
These people have never managed to organise a piss-up in a brewery so it might be amusing if you like jugglers. Where is NVP when we need him?

That would fit in with their superior organisational skills. Wait till two days before and then start asking around if anybody has a generator handy.

Do you think they've actually asked the council and the cops if they can do this?

Isn't it in Windrush Square, though?
Edited to add: Arf! Yes. And Windrush Square is a separate entity from Tate gardens.

Have just been on the 'phone to "a Friend of Tate Gardens" (on something completely unrelated wearing other hats) and asked about tomorrow's event.
Apparently it got moved into Windrush Square after discussions with the Events team - something to do with risk assessment of kids running into the Effra Road traffic from the unfenced Tate Gardens.
[insert rant about nanny state etc...]

They probably weren't so worried about kids wandering into the traffic as stoned dimwits.
Didnt see that many people there. It would have been better to have it at Tate Gardens.Cant see the safety problem. The opening day for the revamped TG had kids events in it.
