Fort William itself, is abit of a dump though.. from memory.

Yes, not my favourite scottish town & the best scenery around isn't really visible from it.

Fort William was splattered there by a careless town planner. Best thing to do is buy a pie on your way somewhere else.

a bit late , but next time take the ferry over to the other side. there's not much there , but at least you're out of fort william

There is nothing to do in Fort William.

I used to travel to Skye a couple of times a year and there was a 2h gap there between buses - I remember my normal activity was to slowly walk the length of the high street and back again five times.

I made it out alive took till 18:30 though

Paced the high st, went to capercallie bar, played killer, had spliff... :)

go to the local church and steal stuff, carve your name on park benches, nick the liquid soap out of a public toilet and squirt it on the village pond so all the sish die, go into a restraunt and do a big shite on the floor then make a glove out of toilet paper and pick it up - like a giant faecal crayon - and smear "stroober thinks Ft William is SHITE" on the wall.... lots of stuff.... use your imagination, as long as the local inhabitants are left a few 'momentos' to remind them of your visit. :)

I loved it when i went i found the scenery breathtaking :)

I bought some wonderful cards from the top of Ben Nevis which are now on my fridge. :)
