. . but at the same time perhaps somthing not entirely sensible.

There you go: Blokey, yet not blokey.

Anywhere in the general vis . . . vicen . . . area would do. Cheers !

Buy yourself a pair of clippers, you'll save a fortune over time.

Haircut Sir, up the road from the Hob, opposite Carpet Warehouse.

4.95 for an excellent trim, and access to Gents Magazines, like GQ and Loaded.

Andy is a top bloke, and will tell you about Cyprus.

George's on Coldharbour Lane, across from the Barrier Block - he's great. Another old Greek Cypriot.

there's a really good bloke on the parade between Oval and kennington opposite the park

...is very good (when I lived on Helix Road) but continuing the Greek Cypriot theme there's another no nonsense blokey barbers at top of Brixton Hill with a suitably Mediterranena feel to it.

For the stouter of heart 'Ruff Cutz' on Elm Park Road is an 'experience'...went in there for a haircut a few years back when my clippers broke and there was a photo of Mike Tyson receiving a trim in the very same shop tucked behind the mirror!

Must have been when he sought sanctuary in Brixton police station to avoid his fans...

;)

Or another Greek Cypriot almost opposite The Post Office Bakery on Landor Rd....about £5. Or the place at 205 Stockwell Road, about 6 doors down from the Academy -£7ish.

Top of Brixton Hill : Andrew is on holiday at the moment - I think hes back the second week of September. He's the son of the nice Cypriot barber opposite Southwyck House, who has already been mentioned on the thread.
