View Full Version : could someone id this mansion?
When I was about 16 I stayed in a mansion in west wales that was being used as an outdoor activity centre- it was on the edge of the preseli hills and set in acres of woodland with ponds and stuff. Not too far from st davids.
It was about 20 years ago that I stayed there on a team building week.
I think it was called something like selia mansion but google is giving me no clue.
Did psychedelic music fill the air?

Its not stackpole is it?
I know they have ponds and woodlands and stuff and its nearish to St Davids?
hmmm the name doesnt ring a bell and despite the name it was not so grand as the one pictured above, but I ll google stackpole and see if that was the one- though I thought stackpole was by the sea and this one was more into the hills it was in a small wooded valley if memory serves.

you're welcome - I am a former 'inmate' too - did you do the night orienteering?? funny as hell, I was the only one who made it back & a couple of the lads on the course were found huddled together in a psilocybin stupor at the foot of a gorge ......
