I'm having trouble working out where Alexandra Palace is. I might have found a nice hotel in Islington - is that anywhere near?

Get the tube to Wood Green, then cross diagonally across the road and catch a W3 bus - takes about 5 minutes.

If you're going up for an exhibition they normally put on special buses anyway.

It's the knitting and stitching show in October. I'm trying to persuade the OH to come with me and go to the theatre the night before. Any recommendations? I fancy something showy and glitzy :)

Yeah, that's a thought. I've been looking at Guys and Dolls but it's sold out for the time we're there :(

Get the WAGN service from Kings Cross or Moorgate to Ally Pally station. Only takes about 15 mins. During weekdays you can connect at Highbury & Islington tube station or Essex Rd train station :)
