anyone been and got any specific recommendations for things to check out?

We'll probably do the lot as we're there for 2 weeks - in September - (and have a rough guide), but I just wondered if there were any 'unmissable' bits that we should make sure we see?/stuff not in the guide book..?

any good island hops/boat trips worth doing?

Knowledge/experience appreciated.

Fiskardo is a lovely little harbour town. It's one of the few towns on the island that wasn't destroyed in the earthquake in the '50s, so has many of the oldest buildings on the island. Nice walks along the coast and a couple of nice restaurants. Quite posh, but definitely worth a visit.
