He's lost weight, off drugs, presenting a TV show.
He was a footballing god. At least he broke the monotony of England talking about 19 fucking 66.

What has he got to do with Scotland, apart from we might like him for winning a footie game??

I think the answer is in your question. Fucking sad isn't it.

Ah, I think I see.
Usually I would agree that yes it is sad, but there's a wee demon in built in to Scots that necessitate the need for joy when the english get beat at footie :o
I don't even like the game, sorry! :o

I would be more topical to talk about the Denmark game, rather than some fat bloke nearly 20 years ago.
(not having a go at you though)

See that means nothing to me either. I think the way football is now is wrong, so I don't pay attention.
I didn't actually realise the season had started again til I was chatting to someone on Friday.

I don't like football. I couldn't name any of the Scotland players, or the manager. But I heard on radio 4 that Maradonna had confessed to doing a hand ball in an "important" game a long, lomg time ago. It seemed to irritate the presenters very much.
I thought it would be fun to see if I could get the same reaction here. :) It worked.
Im not particularly keen on footie or have anything against english people but I love it when you loose at football because you all act like a pathetic bunch of cry-babies with a media witch hunt to follow :p :D
*rallies up the scottish troops for a chant*
