I'm sure I read somewhere a couple of months ago that the folks involved in the old Filthy McNasty's pub in Islington had a new pub that was already developing its own little indie scene.... and I have no idea where that pub is or what it was called. My Google-fu is failing me and I am now becoming obsessed with finding the place... any clues?

Might be the Duke Of Clarence, 140 Rotherfield Street, London, N1 3DA. My daughter goes there sometimes. The likes of Pete Doherty do impromptu gigs there occasionally. The only other one I can think of is the one at the end of the Parkland Walk in Highgate (still in borough of Islington) on the corner of Holmesdale/Archway Roads (can't remember the name though).
there's one on the holloway road, but i can't remember the name :o i think coldplay drink there :D
