There was a free music festival on yesterday - dunno if it's still on. The openair amphitheatre by the Mayor's building, Tower Bridge.

bit late, but if you need something "free" for tonight, there are music concerts at some place called "the scoop" near the mayor's building* at tower bridge.

start at about 6ish i think, go on till 9ish.

also have lunchtime shows

cheers all, I couldn't start the evening until about nine in the end, so all the good free stuff was over :( but I did some tasting of apple-influenced alcoholic beverages around holborn instead :)
