Tell me about brixton plz

I will be moving to brixton in a few weeks time,can some of you tell me a bit about brixton-good places to visit,events etc
Also what kind of things are there available to do with children,in particular babies of 9 months above.
Also what do you all think about brixton,a good place to live?

Whippersnappers music sessions at the Lido, soft play in Brixton Rec, one o'clock club in Brockwell park (and others around Brixton), all the facilities in Brockwell Park, storytelling sessions in Tate Library,kids cinema club at the ritzy, lots!

Just walking around the market kept my little 'uns entertained. Still does, now they're big 'uns. There's also Mum and baby films at the Ritzy.
