we had similar happen a couple of years ago, check that your waste pipe isn't too long to let it drain!

we called out ginns spares - 020 8761 3174 / 07976 425816 / 07968 320191

came out really quickly, really nice bloke and not a rip off.

to be honest if your machine's been plumbed in for a while you'd have had this problem long ago if the waste pipe is too long.

another thing that's stopped mine from working properly is the fluff thing getting so blocked up

So ducky, did you use them? I ask because my faithful machine has just packed up.

give him a try mrs m, we were very impressed with him, honest and didn't try to rip us off.

I only ask because this was in the 'accidentally shifted threads in limbo' section and I only found it because I searched within the mods forum.
:o Still got the best part of 17,000 threads to shift :o

haven't you got better things to do with your time? ;)

:D Yeah, just been ferrying washing to my mate on the other side of the estate :D
I did have a wonderful repair man who has sadly (for me anyway) retired. I poached him off the LEB...he came twice to fix my machine over a couple of years and as he was the only repair man that didn't do a sharp intake of breath and say "You need a new machine, love" I asked him if he only worked for the LEB and if so could I have his card....

I can recommend another one. I'll PM you the details.

When my machine refused to drain, @ 4 years ago, MachV recommended me this guy who came round, spent 20mins or so checking it out before locating a problem with the waste pipe which turned out to be a dead easy fix. He attempted not to charge me anything. Just recommended I run the machine to the ground then bear him in mind when it came time to buy a new one..

Old machine is still going strong.

How decent is that..
