Most major cities you can use them. And the Newcastle system as well. Normally quite safe. Know this isnt relevant but Metro system in Newcastle running to suburbs only. Trains not entering city centre

They said there was a package round the corner from me in the station (but I think that was just them being cautious given what happened).

I saw one woman who'd clearly been near an explosion though she didn't seem hurt, just stuff on her face...

Walked in to the office (near Kings X) and saw the traffic and people on the streets and then heard what had happened.
