'It emerged he has named singing legends Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross and actress Elizabeth Taylor as defence witnesses in his trial.'

A couple of really balanced individuals there, and one who just didn't see a thing going on. Great defence.

Hmmm, the prospect of the Jackson going into hospital and the Jackson coming out of hospital being ever so slightly different appeals. And a few days later a middle aged black gentleman exits quietly through a side door with some facial bandages...... ;)

I think the question we have to ask 'is he intentionally being ill' so all those predicting it will go 'i was right' while in fact Jackson is taking the piss out of these sycophants?

I'll ask Nathan Barley next time I see him.

It was a spider bite the last time: I quote from a random bulletin board

''I went to the Chicago Tribune website tonight and found that Michael is being sued 21 million over caneled millennium concerts. He is being sued by a German concert promoter Marcel Avram for breach of contract. However he didn't make an appearance because of a spider bite and the judge is making him go for medical tests. Maybe he shouldn't stop at the spider bite, he needs his head examined as far as I am concerned! ''

Didn't he also collapse from the flu during the lawsuit of this too?

It was funny when Sky News went to a crucial interview with a friend who confirmed that his lawyer's statement would certainly be truthful. When it's Uri Geller backing you up, you have to wonder...

When i first saw the thread i thought that maybe he had started to decompose a la South Park.

it does puzzle me why he is calling celebs as witnesses. i can't really see how they are going to help his case other than in the "we are rich and famous so you must believe us" stakes. Which'd do more to piss off a jury than impress them, surely. Unless they are going to liven up the 6 month trial with the occasional sing-a-long

there's a syndrome called "Munchhausen's syndrome", i think,
wherein a person fakes illness to get other's pity (if i remember it correctly).
-mr.Wacko seems to have got his fair share of this...
(came to court last year in crutches, now he's suddely too "ill"
to proceed with the trial against him- Yeah, so was Pinochet...,
his doctors declared him "unfit"too... )

I think Munchausen's is actually making yourself ill (or someone else if it's Munchausen by Proxy) for attention, rather than faking it.

What do you think the jury selection process is for?

Defence: "Do you believe in the Tooth Fairy?"
Candidate Juror: "No..."
Defence: "Objection!"
Defence: "What's 4 divided by 2?"
Candidate Juror: "3"
Defence: "No objections..."

So. He was rushed into Casualty with a heavy cold.

I'm not too sure that'd go down very well in my local hospital. Nor would a judge be that impressed...

Ah, but you live under the oppressive yoke of Socialised Medicine.

In the Land of the Free, you just have to work hard enough* to be able to afford to get hospitalised with a cold when it suits you. That is the True Meaning of Freedom™.

* Yes, of course it's a fucking lie.

16-02-2005, 03:03
of course it's fucking serious. Can you imagine him sneezing ? If it' a big one, it will be a problem to put apart snot and the nose that was put on his face. If he tries to hold, half his face would probably collapse.

He's summoning his own kids as defence witnesses.

For someone who claims he has the best interests of children at heart - why would he summon his own kids and subject them to cross-examination in an abuse case?

What the fuck would they know about his abusing a cancer patient?

I'm sorry, but all this points to one conclusion for me - that he's a desperate fool who doesn't give a fuck about kids, his own or anyone elses.

I reckon he's a lying-ass whitey paedophile muthafucka, cha'mon.

Why do celebrities/dictators always get ill when they come to trial? Wacko probably spent the night in the same ward as Pinochet and Milosevic. When this all blows over they'll release an album together.
