As someone who finds it mind-numbingly boring, this is great news.

Perhaps now they can find time to put Countryfile back to Sunday mornings/ early afternoon, where it fucking belongs

    ITV2 after that please.
  4. Citizen66 splash the cistern

Is it being rescheduled or shelved?

Seems a bit weird. Eastenders omnibus on a Sunday afternoon and Antiques Roadshow on the evening Mixed with the gnawing anxiety of impending work/school the following morning traditionally always made for a depressing Sunday.

It will now be shown at midnight on Friday nights :D

Seems a good idea. They should do that with all omnibuses (?) and people can still watch it on Sunday afternoon on iplayer if they so desire.

This makes me realise I never ever watch BBC1 anymore... unless there's a film on :hmm:

I liked waking up on a Sunday to green pastures and fluffy sheep.

Is that why it wasn't on on Sunday!

I switched on TV on Friday and the Omnibus edition was on then. I figured they must have moved it for some sporting event on the Sunday

Countryfile used to be good, it's shit now it's like 'everything rural lite'
  15. EastEnder Brixton Barnacle

Eastenders is depressing, tedious, predictable, repetitive, clichéd drivel made by cretins, starring arseholes and watched only by those who are, or certainly should be, lobotomised.

I've watched it since it started :p
  18. T & P |-o-| (-o-) |-o-|

Yeah, it's not what it used to be.

Interesting opinion, given your username. I had you for a fan :D
  20. EastEnder Brixton Barnacle

I am a fan of very little. TBF, I loathe & despise all soap operas, Eastenders is no more abominable than Coronation Street or Emerdale Farm, etc. They're all just utterly, shockingly awful.
  21. Kid_Eternity "Intergalactic Planetary Planetary Intergalactic"

With iPlayer on almost every device and lots of TVs now I don't know why they still bother with it...
  22. veracity where you're not

It's gone rubbish since Ben Fogle left :(
  23. harpo Listening to Radio Jackie

I for one can't get used to it. I want Sunday enders back.
  24. Geri wasn't born to follow

I don't like watching TV on a computer, I doubt I am the only one.
  25. maldwyn What?

My TV is a computer - my computer is a TV.

Who said just computer? I said its available on pretty much every device, I watch via my xbox 360 for example others via their laptop, some via smart TVs...

Eastenders is great - but I wouldn't want to spend my whole Sunday afternoon watching it. Especially now they also show it at 22:00 and on iplayer. (iplayer comes with virgin, which means I can watch it on tv as I also dont' like watching things on the computer.)
  28. NVP LOBSTER RAGE FIST

Quite right, preferably coupled with the sort of crippling hangover that means you can't physically drag yourself away from the screen. Anything else just isn't British.

The theme tune to Antiques Roadshow still gives me the feeling of dread that I've not started my homework yet.
  30. Geri wasn't born to follow

Well, a laptop is a computer. I don't have an xbox or a smart TV.
