My mum's coming down and she wants sausages, mash and gravy with peas and courgettes, so that...and I've just put a raspberry and apple crumble cake in the oven so I'll warm that up to have with custard or ice cream for pudding.
Sausages, mash and gravy last night Tonight something lighter eaten early. Thinking maybe a pasta or some couscous.
Have some chicken thighs defrosting so going to fry them and then do a red wine/tomato spicy sauce with mushrooms.
i'm liking all the sausage dinners on here Sausage for me tonight as-well , with sweet potato mash and maybe baked beans and mushrooms. And fried tomato maybe. Just so i can pretend it's a kind of full english So maybe a fried egg aswell...
FIT! I made a version of this with mustard seeds recently... Gave it a Bombay potato type taste, yum.
Chicken katsu with katsu sauce, rice, shredded chinese leaf and steamed broccoli. More apple and raspberry crumble cake for pudding.
Katsu is lovely Salmon steaks with new potatoes, broad beans and hollandaise sauce (from a packet ). Then lemon drizzle cake!
Last night was tagliatelle with courgette, peas, lemon and butter. It was delicious and doubly so cos the courgettes and peas were from our urban gardening experiment outside in our alley The boy is out tonight, so just me to please. There's a diet ready meal in the fridge (M&S keralan curry - pretty good tbh) but I might sneakily have the last of the ikea meatballs with chips
A tump of cheese, crackers, bread and maybe a tomato salad with capers and mint to make it not so cloying.
No booze here either A quick pasta and LG sauce, laden with black olives and mature cheddar for tea tonight, followed by 50p a pack Galaxy Caramel Cake bars
A mind damaging extended weekend of debauchery has left us all somewhat shellshocked, so looking forward to something basic like baked spud and cheesybeans. I did however manage to wow some foodie mates at the stateley home we hired out with a red pepper and goats cheese frittata and some frankly awesome roast vegetable, harissa and feta couscous.
crinkle cut chips and veggie fingers & maybe beans. It's a orange oven dinner which means I have nothing else in to eat and must go shopping.
Just a roasted chicken leg and salad for us tonight. Local shop has Hobgoblin again, so a few of those too.
It was DELICIOUS! Tbf, when is fried chicken NOT delicious No cake left for me tho..cos I froze too much of it yesterday so I'm going to have a cup of tea and a couple of jaffa cakes for my pudding.
