    This or go to Oxfam or similar and buy a gift for someone who deserves/ will appreciate it and give her the card to tell her about it :) I think Oxfam do a card and a fridge magnet.

    Fortunately my inlaws are happy for me to do that. I don't buy my mother a present at all. Suppose I better write her a card though.
