Show us your Christmas Tree

  1. S☼I human being not a human doing

We put it up last night - and also changed the front room completely. Noodle was totally confused when we went downstairs this morning. She did the "shy" thing, then started looking out of the corner of her eye at the tree, and after about 5 mins was doing her "running on the spot dance of happiness". So we think it's a hit.

The Boy just sat on the sofa playing his DS. Didn't even realise the massive sofa's been swung round 90 degrees.

Anyway. Here's our modest little tree.

    whose string?
  5. 5t3IIa Registered User

Steelies string. There's some complicated arrangement of string on the sideboard.
  6. Saffy Under the duvet..

The kids did most of it yesterday, looks a bit wonky but I think that's me after a couple of drinks.:D

It's rope. But yeah, it has to go round the door & drawer handles to stop The Girl distributing the CDs and DVDs around the house.
  8. Minnie_the_Minx Liking again

Oh, I noticed that but I was far too polite to mention it ;)
  9. Minnie_the_Minx Liking again

Nah, I think the tree's wonky
  10. 5t3IIa Registered User

Well, that's cleared that up then

Not sure tying girls up with string is legal though
  12. S☼I human being not a human doing

But I haven't tied her up. I tied the sideboard up. And some cupboards in the kitchen.

That's a very countrified brick fireplace you have there Phil. Nice little tree as well. A spark from the fireplace won't set fire to it will it or is it a fake fire? :hmm:

Thanks Minnie. Animal feed was originally brewed in this fireplace. When the barn was converted to a house a wood burner was put in its place. For the past few days the wood burner's been on just about all the time - the cat rarely leaves its rest on the left of the burner (except for this picture of course).

I may add that I did not buy most of these presents. Me and my kids are blessed with a wicked grandmother/exes mum who always makes sure we don't go short. We are very lucky indeed :)

I have just realised that our xmas sort of proves that crime can pay. My daughters nan is married to a prison governer....yeah:eek: I know.
Well she paid for all of our presents out of his hefty earnings :D
