I quite like what he's trying to do tbh. It's been quite a while that a very popular music artist has produced a song that says something.

I'm not sure he'll be able to achieve anything on a massive scale, but good luck to him.

It's really good to have a pop star who kids fucking love (because they recognise him as not in any way fake) who is so overtly class conscious, bringing up an issue that is otherwise never discussed in mainstream culture.

I like the way that he seems to take his own direction, doing and saying things that (I imagine) horrified the record execs when he first floated the idea, and making them really work.

Easily the most interesting "big" musician around at the moment.

I'll give him a bonus point for having a remix of that single done by someone called Funtcase. I'm getting a bit old and out of touch so I've only just become aware of both Plan B and Funtcase.
