Mumbai: coordinated terrorist attacks, westerners targetted

News reports are very confused at the moment but it appears to be a spate of coordinated attacks with guns and grenades aimed at tourists, the Taj and other hotels are reported to have been attacked and some reports are talking about US and British passport holders being targetted

yeah,on the news it says they were going round asking if people were American or British,and shooting them

It's all very confused at the moment but theres some reports that westerners are being held as hostages at the Taj and Oberoi hotels.

The Taj is enormously posh (Ive stayed at a cheaper place nearby) so it makes sense as a target.

Theres been terror attacks in Mumbai, linked to the Muslim underworld.

British witness from the Oberoi on Sky now says they were targetting UK/US

they ordered the reception desk to give them the room numbers of westeners

Theres still gunmen active at the Victoria Terminus and holding some hostages at the Taj
