Moustache waxing. Sticky tape? :D

They're very fine but they're getting to the need to sort stage, plucking hurts too much and makes my eyes water, then I can't see what I'm doing. Any reason why sticky tape would be a disaster?

    :D

It works on really fine hairs but gaffer tape works better, or fabric plasters are even better still :D

My eldest has Frida Kahlo features, colouring and hirsuteness. She swears by Jolen Creme Bleach.

I'd be scared i'd pull my top lip off with gaffer tape :D

I use that on my arms but want these hairs gone.

i wouldn't have thought sticky tape would be sticky enough. i like hmmph's suggestions.

creme bleach is ok as long as you have very pale skin, otherwise you get a blond moustache which is just as obvious.

to be honest that's what I use...

but on my travels, without access to my good mate Jolene, I've done all of the tape things too - the top lip (and unfortunately the hair) is still here :(

*feel a bit uncomfortable discussing this - it's a bit like telling the world I've had my arse bleached*

  9. lizzieloo Leave the goalposts be.

    ah-HA!

And I'm gonna do it in the bath. Xes you're a genius.
  10. Mrs Magpie On a bit of break...

My daughter has neither. She's been using Jolen for nearly 25 years.

My mate has Indian skin and uses Jolen, as do a hell of a lot of other women on the Indian sub continent.

Thing with me is I use foundation and my moustache is starting to get in the way

me too, I'm not that pale and I've used it since being a teenager. Mine's quite thick too so the problem with waxing it obvious when it's growing back

gaffer tape would be fine, though duct tape may result in loss of more features than you bargained for.
  14. lizzieloo Leave the goalposts be.

I'm gonna have a bath now and try it. Will report back.

Any reason you've ruled proper facial waxing strips out of the equation? :D

I'd go with threading personally. It's really effective. I haven't done it myself but my friend gets her eyebrows done and I've been with her.

Don't do gaffer tape. I tried it on my arm and I looked like a permanent chicken pox victim for several days after :D Bleach, wax of hair removal cream but NEVER, EVER gaffer tape :D

[IMG]Can you get these in England? It rips out loads of hair at a time so less tortuous than waxing, and you don't need to keep buying stuff?

I'm glad my feminism finds better things to worry about than leaving my "ladyfo" alone.
