Is it 11pm Friday and I've not noticed somehow?
The giveaway as to how removed from reality trampie is, is the antique comparison to a "factory worker".
Time to put the cringe-worthy 19th century references away. There are barely 3 million people employed in manufacturing in the UK. Compare that with over 6 million in catering and hotels - and over 6 million in education, public admin and heathcare.
Do you really imagine that building the broad sort of coalition that can take on board the needs of and work in defence of the lowest paid is going to be helped by attacking people taking the first steps towards that needed movement? If you do then i think you should steer clear as you've got nothing to offer. I mean, you've not chosen to attack the union bureaucracy or leadership or other factors working towards limiting these actions to potential sectional claims - instead you've attacked those whose actions necessarily lead beyond these limits. Public sector workers are also the section of the electorate least likely to vote tory. Chocolate fucking teapot.
Teachers at the last election were voting Tory in droves, in previous elections since the formation of New Labour they were voting for them neo Tories in droves, lots of them vote for what is best for themselves and not society.
No he wasn't
You have the evidence for this to hand? You think the lowest paid don't vote for the mainstream parties? You have the evidence of that to hand? And if they do vote for these parties they can also presumably be fucked off - right? You are going to be consistent and follow your own 'logic' aren't you?
So who does that leave being pure enough for membership of your mighty coalition that will bring down these cuts and other measures - non-voters, the handful who voted for socialist parties and those who don't oppose cuts and austerity by striking or other actions. As i said, feel the power of the chocolate fucking teapot.
Exactly. Selfish fucking teacher cunts. They don't give a shit about anybody else, driving round in their Ferraris, quaffing champagne and living in their luxury apartments. The government should sack them all.
Anecdotage, I realise but none of the teachers I know vote tory. They couldn't live with the shame.
There was an opinion poll just before the last election, teachers were fairly evenly split between the Tories and New Labour with the Lib-Dems also having quite a big support, teachers under 35 were apparently very likely to vote Tory.
So do you have this single poll to hand and are you're going to ignore the rest of the post?
your memory is obviously as shit aswell then
Er, Labour still favoured by most teachers.
Exactly lots of teachers are Tory voters, do they in general give one fig for the unemployed, pensioners, minimum wages workers etc ?, or do they just want the taxes of the low paid to go towards giving them an even better pension, a pension that most private sector workers could not even dream of getting.
No, not exactly teapot, you've been shown to be a lying teapot now as well as a political reactionary concerned not with the less well off but more with damaging the sort of actions that can develop into effective defence of them.
Tory astro-turfing propaganda. You mug.
"Lots"? Or "droves"? Or "evenly split"?
exactly?? You are proven to be talking shite and you claim it backs you up! Wow, you make Gove look honest and sensible
What complete toss. Are you doing this for some kind of laugh?
Pick which ever one you like, they got what they voted for.
That's my theory
Fuck you, you splitting scab scum.
Doesn't make sense, you've claimed that the majority of teachers vote tory. The polls don't support this, from what I can see...
Usually on threads like these it's danny who's patient and me that does the swearing.
Reasoned debate and gentle andragogy is for peace time.
When we're on the barricades, the splitters get neck shot.
Never broken a strike in my life, just pointing out that there are Tory voters and Neo Tory voters out there striking for themselves to get better pensions when anybody with half a brain knows that lots of them dont care about the poor, they are not the poor, dont get taken in by them, they are the lucky ones with jobs [for now] and comparitively good pensions.
Don't start now, then. Show some self respect.
So you'd prefer the "Tory" strikers (give me strength) to not strike and go into work as usual, hence strike-breaking/scabbing?
"General strike" my arse, you soapy twat.
You reckon you're proudly Welsh, and yet you obviously have no appreciation or knowledge of Welsh history, or you'd know what a general strike is, and it ain't less than 30 unions striking on the same day, you muppet.
fuck off. We can all tell you are a little but stupid, but even you should be able to read the above links, and then realise that they show that far fewer teachers vote tory (or labour) than is the case amongst the wider population. But I doubt that facts have ever bothered you in any way at all, so I dont know what the point of communicating with you is.
You worthless scab apologist cunt.
