high st shopping: photo frames

i've left everything to the last minute again

where should i be looking for photo frames on the high street? have tried various local places without much luck. i want a big one 5x7 at least. cute but not too cutesy.

for kid2's 5th birthday tomorrow

i get mine in Sainsbury's when i need them.

Probs not.

do they do fancy ones at all? it needs to be a bit fancy

supermarkets are harder for me cos out of town: i was hoping to walk into town and get something tomorrow.

and i'm not looking for a plain frame to decorate: the pic inside is the main present (which i'm doing atm, but it's difficult to know what to do with it until i have an idea of the frame)

What kinda shops do you have on your nearest high street?

Sainsbury's do some very nice silver, glass and other decorative frames. Most of the ones in my home are from there when they have been super cheap on special offer

standard ones, just no ikea or anything like that.

thhe big saisburys near me has some decorative frames. i bought red laquered box frames there a few months ago, and they do mirrored glass and sort of ornate, scrolly designs. never really looked for kid-friendly ones, but i wouldn't be surprised. also big branches of boots or M&S?

maybe i'm better heading out of town then? have matalan, sainsbos, dunelm all in the same place.
