I really must go and select a team sometime this week.

No doubt I'll end up with 3 players who get crocked in the last pre-season game, another 3 who get crocked in the first game of the season, 3 who get last minute transfers out of the Premiership and a couple who fall out with their managers and end up in the reserves or sulking or both...

I expected great things this season. Great things. But another bad start. Non performing megastar bastards and a couple of crocks. Lost h2h to someone who has Podolski as captain ffs.

Fantasy football loves Leighton Baines. He wasn't even Everton's best defender against Utd but he picks up maximum 3 bonus points. Fellaini, who destroyed Utd, got only 2 points. And Jagielka just one.

I've got rid of Dempsey - he was great last season, probably my top scorer but his head isn't right atm - might give him a go later in the season - likely to move and get less games though

Well, just the one goal from Torres in the end but a good load of points from the rest of the Chelsea team, even if they were a bit shaky last night. Anyone captain Ivanovic?

The team I had just days before the start included Hazard as captain, Michu and Petric. I subbed all of them out just to "play it safe".

Fuck this game.

Had the wrong Chelsea defender & midfielder but still a fairly decent start. As per usual though i left a higher scoring player on the bench.
