Confirmed for 2011 Dub Pistols, The Wurzels, Pronghorn, Banco de Gaia, The Boot Hill All Stars, The Inbredz and The Cropdusters who are celebrating their 25th anniversary + loads more tba. Tickets are not on sale yet ( we are giving the system a bit of an overhaul), but we'll let you know as soon as they go on sale
its all a bit exciting ( well from here it is anyway) - just waiting confirmation of a band from back in the day - Can't remember ever having seen them on any festival line-up, so could be a real guilty pleasure for many. The only clue I can give ( otherwise it'll be obvious to those who remember) is that ther is a very loose connection with Emmerdale farm.......
I definitely want to go this year. I had a ticket 4 years ago but buggered my ribs and couldn't face camping.
first acts announced... THE WURZELS, THE DUB PISTOLS, THE CROPDUSTERS, BANCO DE GAIA, PRONGHORN, THE BOOT HILL ALL STARS, P.N.U.K, THE INBREDZ, DAN DAYS, AL O'KANE
Didn't even know about that, but looks good and nearer for you - but will miss you ( if you don't come..
I've been away from the music seen for a long time. All of the bands mentioned here I've never heard of. So this thread is from 2004. Who's the most popular these days for this type of music?
Same here I hope you decide to come to Dorset after all -- we've decided we're going to be staying in Glastonbury (that well known campsite ) the Thursday night before EiiD, so if the urge overcomes the mooses to get to to the soft south after all, you know where to head
It doesn't clash with Rebellion this year Endorse it is always on the second weekend in August - its part of our licence and always has been since being on this site. Latest line up and ticket details are coming soon...
Just to clear up a few nagging issues around the EiiD dates & clashes with other events. We are and always have been, on the second weekend in August since we moved onto that site 6 years ago. When you move site, you have to apply for a new licence and the one we have specifies those dates. I hope that clears up where we stand within all this. The really good news is that although we often share some acts with Rebellion, as we don't clash this year EiiD will have a few more punk acts to satisfy those ( in particular the Bristol lot who keep bending my ear about it) who normally goto Rebeliion, but this year can do both. Details coming soon....
I hope I get to play records at this again. It was the most ridiculously nervous I've been about dj'ing for ages last year but SO MUCH FUN when we did get going! Was surprised just how well the hip hop and pop went down.
