Had it confirmed today that I can go to this (which is a damned relief cos i was starting to think I'd have to write it off). Turns out working really fucking hard and smiling nicely at people for a very long time means every now and then when you go on a begging mission it works in your favour *thumbs* . . . anyway I'll be on site from Saturday morning fresh from the olympics control room
I'm really hoping that I get to see some of the proper old urbanite crew we've drifted from a bit since we started limiting our festival choices due to Werv (who isn't coming to boomtown . . . .result!!)
Arggg i want to go. Not bought a ticket or owt. Still kinda keen on working it, but not completely sold also, I'd rather be free n skippin'/squelching about! Ideas? 1st of July i might have more of an idea as to what my plans are and some tickets might go back on sale?
Do bar work with festival volunteers, its 2X6 hour shifts, as opposed to oxfam which is 3 X 8.5 Ive bought a ticket.
