Anyone going to this? I've been for the last two years and its been siiiick! If you are into your ragga then this is a must in my opinion. Think the line up will start to be announced in Feb. http://www.boomtownfair.co.uk/
I love it, im hoping to work again, waiting for the steward companies to start getting everyone signed up in march.......
I'm virtually sold on it. However I have 4 weddings and 4 stag dos to go to this year (fucking expensive!) so need to ensure I don't double book meself!
Yep yep yep! Ticket purchased the day they went on sale First line-up announcement on the 1st Feb... a week TODAY!
We were hoping to be child free this year, but my sister is very selfishly going to have a baby that weekend so all possible babysitters will be busy That said, I thought it was a suprisingly good festival for kids.
Yes, we all had fun, the kids field was pretty good wasn't it. Trouble was at night time we both wanted to go out together and doing it on your own just isn't the same.
I'm only going if I can get in free, fucked if I'm paying that much to have them turn off the bass at sunset. (If I'm on it I'll probably get in free though)
its the law now stuffs we get it all the time its why we dont do outdoor gigs usually cos of all the noise complaints. fukin wankers environmental health my arse
For the price it cost to rent one, I'm thinking it might be better to just buy one between me and a few of my mates! We always huddle together in the biggest tent for the longest time until sleep hinders us so it makes sense to just get a massive fuck off bell tent that'll accomodate the horde
I thought about that too... but then we tend to all sleep a different times and theres a fair amount of tent/sleeping hopping anyway. And it's lnot like anyone wants to have sex at a festival
I will also most likely be attending something called natural rhythm in cambridge. You should all come as it's well cheap and I'll be running a chai stall/chill out area. Maybe.
when is it fm? My schedule is filling up, got rollright fayre, glade, sgp, boomtown, beautiful days, shambala, bangface weekend and a wee bit of mischief.... Im hoping to work most of them......
I wouldnt be able to work it, would have to leave sunday to get to work monday..... Its still my term time
I'm pretty sure last year the music was pounding until around 2am when the main tents stopped - due to the location in a natural bowl it holds the sound in really well. I noticed a marked increase in volume compared to 2010 when by 11/12pm yes it was pretty quiet.
OH MY Seeing as Glastonbury's off this year, the full Arcadia stage is coming to Boomtown I thought I was going to have to brave Glastonbury one more time so I could see it. But no!
