*covers eyes* I was a member on a site which had a "no unfriendliness" rule. Compared to that, this place is a paragon of tolerance and open-mindedness (present company naturally excepted, CP ). The LAST thing you ever want on an online community is mods "raising the standards up [sic - how's that journalism going?]", because when the interference starts reaching those levels, the rest of the site is beginning to get fed up of being treated like a playground full of kids. Nah, the Urban approach has to be the best I've encountered yet. Oh, and CP - not that this necessarily applies to you, but it is easy to misinterpret "loads and loads of people having a different viewpoint from mine" as "loads and loads of people getting together behind my back to organise a campaign of bullying against me". You may find this thought useful in your analysis of what goes on here sometimes...
