i've just noticed that stobart has "troll of the year 2008" as her tagline. which made me wonder where she stole it from, cos it can't be her. who do you reckon it is? do you care? or do you think trolls are just a bit lame, really, in the main? (apart from firky obviously - everyone loves firky)
trolls are lame. Stobart is lamer, nobody even responds to most of her pisspoor efforts these days most of the people I initially think are trolling turn out to mean it. Which is depressing.
chegs has got away with some deadpan rent-a-reactionary stuff lately, which has worked quite well. I think for a troll to be good, people have to bite. It's what's shorn phil of his powers this year. No one bites any more...

The golden age of trolling is long gone. All of the people who used to get wound up seem bored of being wound up and all of the biggest trolls are the same people doing the same troll they did 3 years ago
Chegs has been more court jester than troll . Piss funny thought it has been, the weight of his posting history is a considerable drag factor, meaning he has puzzled people more than set them off into apoplexy. People who have actually had me applauding and taking my sequin beret off to them very recently have included JC2 and Zachor. Though again, there may be some argument over the latter.
What about trevhagl and OI! And copy and pasting comments from the BBC, Daily Mail and SpeakYourBranes isn't trolling, altho seeing Pacific Ocean caught out by chegs after about 50 posts was funny.
I'll vote for JC The point it he has some very strong contrarian views on some things, so its not always possible to tell........ But I think he should also get some sort of vote for sheer number of posts.....
