Tsk. Didnt I warn you all? You've only got yourself to bl............. etc etc Its a real bummer, but I will say that its normally quite easy to get tickets for this at cost or lower in the few weeks before it, that being said there is no guarentee so its a bit of a risk. That strummer of love festival is on the same weekend with a similar-ish line-up. Tickets look a bit of a rip mind.
Was half considering going to theis with the family. Advantage being that it's only a few stops on the train from my house. Might give it a few years though when the kids are a bit more independent.
Don't be a dick, it was a joke hence the sad face and the ham fisted attempt to assist. I do feel for people who miss out, it happens every year. ETA: Also there is a thread on the official forums for people buying and selling tickets, at the moment it'll just be people trying to buy but if you stick it out it seems that most people get what they want in the end. One word of warning though ignore the locals over there if you think what I wrote was rude.
mad dog mcrea: they any good? i know my upduffed mate will make me wheel her along they better not be at the bottom of that fucking hill, massive fun and games not had last year with a wheelchair
Yeah, they're a decent laugh and bounce. The bottom of the hill is the bimble inn and yes its a major mission for people with limited mobility. All the acts above are either on the main stage or the big top (the first stage as you enter the site), I believe the bimble sorts its own acts out.
Nowt wrong with usual festie suspects! My brother and nephew have now pulled out of the BD plan, despite me practically holding their hands in terms of offering all the information I could towards them securing tickets (cheers for those earlier tips anyway, Teaboy ) Oh well, better off hanging with the veteran usual suspect punters anyway, instead of lightweight relatives! D
Pretty much everybody I would regard as a 'regular' failed to get tix for this this year but I'm still looking forward to it Me and you then William
Even though we can't (not just no tickets) I am really sad and miss BDs. Have not been for the last 2 years. I can see it all in my head, bathed in warm but not hot sunshine. When the weather has been good (and sometimes when it isn't), it is my favourite festival over all.
Come on folks, shape up now! Tintterynet is yer friend. Tickets WILL be available if you make the effort online. See you at the beertent !!
